Coffins and urns
We provide high-quality coffins and urns made of various materials in various styles and different prices. For transportation services we use only specially made coffins that meet the criteria for international transport. Transportation of the body must take place in the appropriate conditions in order to guarantee technical and sanitary safety. Special sanitary requirements apply to coffins i.e. they must be metal or wooden and be covered with steel. The bottom of the coffin should be filled with a special, 5ml-thick substance which absorbs liquids. Before the journey, the funeral parlour is obliged to hermetically solder it and additionally put it in a tight wooden case to prevent it from moving, or in another container made of impermeable material.
In addition to economic factors, a lack of burial places in cemeteries affects the increase in the number of burials with urns. However, in terms of the number of cremations carried out, Poland is still far-off such countries as Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic, where cremations are becoming more and more popular every year. Many of the procedures performed when buried in an urn cost less. There is the possibility of purchasing an urn tomb, which is unquestionably less expensive than a traditional one. After the incineration process, the ashes of the deceased person are placed in the urn together with a permanent individual ID of ashes, confirmed by the protocol of the incineration and a cremation certificate.
The decision of the persons having the right to burial is sufficient to conduct the cremation, unless the deceased had previously expressed a different wish. Some people express the wish to be cremated in their final will and testament, but most often relatives discover it during family conversations.
